When Nitish Reddy's name came up on the second day of the IPL 2025 auction, the CSK team wanted to buy him first. After this, Rajasthan Royals and RCB teams also came out to compete with CSK. After this, the RCB team came forward to buy Nitish. The RCB team took this bid to Rs 3 crore. Then after a while the bid reached Rs 4 crore and finally Rajasthan Royals bought him by bidding Rs 4.20 crore. Now Nitish Rana will be seen playing for Sanju Samson's Rajasthan Royals.


Nitish Rana entered the auction with a base price of Rs 1.5 crore and was bought by Rajasthan Royals. Rajasthan Royals got a big diamond at a low price. In the absence of Iyer, Nitish Rana captained KKR in the year 2023. Under his captaincy, KKR finished their journey in the seventh position.
